Luxury skincare brand Germaine de Capuccini launches refill packaging

Luxury skincare brand Germaine de Capuccini has introduced a new “Refill and Renew” packaging system as part of its 60th anniversary celebration. The updated design allows customers to insert a recyclable eco-refill into the original jar, enabling continuous reuse while significantly reducing environmental impact.
 


 

According to the brand, the new Eco-Refill packaging delivers substantial sustainability improvements, including:
  • 95% reduction in virgin plastic

  • 94% lower CO₂ emissions

  • 50% reduction in virgin cardboard

  • 90% less waste

  • 97% lower electricity consumption

  • 100% elimination of ink

Over the past two years, the company has also adopted additional environmentally friendly practices, with some packaging formats achieving up to 80% weight reduction.
